97 cd changer

hello all sorry for a probably dumb question but i did ask one of the experts on here and he didnt know the answer. will a 97 cd changer fit in a 96 or earlier years?

If it is the same type of system were it hooks into the antenna up by the dash, yes,i tworks off of a certain freq, channel whatever. It may be different on 97, i don't know, where the antenna hooks into your deck, is there a metal box the acutal antenna hooks into, then another wire to a remote, then to your deck?
