93 town car header panel

Any tricks to removing the header panel on a 93 town car? I bought a Chiltons manual and it was no help at all. There appears to be some pins going into the header panel from the front of the fenders. But maybe I am mistaken? Do I have to remove the fenders? All I know is I can't get the header panel out. Thanks for any help.

Chiltons manuals are good for somethings but you need a factory manual, you can find them on Ebay for a good price.
