I'm kinda doubting it, but since I have a 94 Mark8 in need of one front swaybar endlink, and have an 89 Tbird SC bar with good endlinks in the basement - was contemplating whether it'd work.

Otherwise I have to shell out around $60Cdn. for a new one...

Wow... if you have the sitting in your basement take them up to your car, lift your car up, take the wheel off, compare the SC Tbird links to the Mark ones and if they look the same put them on...

You should put a tiny bit of effort on your end before just asking people to hand you answers.

Got the PM Mike, will respond later - and I'll keep the advice in mind ;).

Yep, just what I needed 'kid', a smartassed answer after being up all night working a 12 hour shift, on top of not getting any sleep yesterday because I was fixing the ball joint on my wife's car so she wouldn't get killed in a crash when the wheel falls off - and still being up thinking to check in on this cool website for helpful advice (from most members) about yet another failing part on the ailing POS Mark8, so that I can keep my accident prone wife out of yet another crash.

Yep, real helpful - thanks. Now where did I put that handy-dandy 'ignore user' feature again.....

Anybody try the sway bar links from bills super coupe performance. When I put them on the threaded end would spin I had to use a pliers to keep it from spinning

im pretty sure they wont work, as far as i know the 89 links point straight up as opposed to the newer style that angles outward

The ones I took off my 93 were straight, the moog ones I put in were angled. I ran into the same problem with the threaded part just spinning. When I got it aligned they used an impact gun.

Actually, the real reason I asked was because the helpful experts here could have given me the answer BEFORE I went to the bother to take the wheel off the car once my wife got home.

I'll type this part slowly 'kid', so you can keep up. You see 'kid', my wife works days - I posted the initial question while she was gone, taking the car in question as transportation to her job. So it wasn't at my house. That would have made it somewhat of a challenge to go inspect it at the time I posed the question. Hopefully you can comprehe..... sorry, big word. How about 'Understand'? Yes, that word will do. Hopefully you can understand my rational for asking the initial question. Oops, there I go with the big words again. My bad, but I'm not going to retype all that again just so you can figure it out.

Hey 'kid', considering how useless your replies are (I've read some of your last posts in other people's queries), don't bother replying to anything I ask in the future.

To the rest - Thanks for your help! Despite the 89 SC part not likely to fit, I've stumbled across another idea. I'm pretty sure a 96 Tbird link will work, we've just picked one up - it's in the driveway not registered yet. To avoid buying a part that might not fix the problem, I'll try swapping the Tbird link to the Mark. If it's a problem solver - will get one for the Tbird.

It's weird how the 89 piece looks - it's either damaged, or it has a built-in bend that my Cougar link doesn't have. But it isn't enough of a bend to match the Mark8 one. I may just throw the SC link into the Cougar and see how it fits. The bar is going in next time the engine is out.

Am I supposed to cry now?

Also I like you confusing my :q:q:q:q:q:q:q response with me being stupid, last time I checked they really didn't go hand in hand...

'You need to stop, or maybe start taking your meds'

,Are you kidding me... How do you need help finding a blown fuse???'

'I have no problem helping people, but if they aren't going to even try and help themselves first why not be snippy'

'Are you serious??'

'Did you read the above posts??'

'look for the fuse that blown...'

'I would say search but you could also try opening your eyes a bit.'

'We have a for sale section you could try...'

Quotes, only in the last FOUR DAYSWhile I'm not going to go through your 1400 PLUS posts, you need to get a life, you dish it out but can't take it, eh skippy?...

must be that developing college education you're getting, and since you are just sitting around now, you have to post, what 20, 30, 40 times a DAY??? mostly with whiny, sarcastic retorts-

aspiring to be toadboy, jr.?
You have a long way to become the legend (in his own mind) that is Frogboy.

Sounds like you have too much time on your hands being able to look through all my posts.... I just like to post between doing homework and classes.

I will admit that my first post in this thread was a little out of hand, and for that I am sorry, all the other replies I have no apologies for.

never mind I just saw you were talking about the front. There easy to do, couldnt hurt to try. I guess it all depends on if your car is lowered or not?

Rationale*

I usually don't get in on these, and I'm not siding with anyone on this.

Kevin you've been here since 04 and could have helped many people in your time here.

Kustomizingkid has been really helpful to many people on here, one example is the 'kustom' evap tray he made for Chicken.

But one thing to do when flaming someone about grammar, please don't embarass yourself.

I see the point both of you are making, but why? Why do we have to jump all over each other over stupid things? We're here to help each other but it seems sometimes like its a e-battle of wits.

Kustom apologized, so lets get back to the subject!

2 15mm bolts will have the end link off in short time. After that you can try what you have. I would have to assume the end links are the same from the tbird. Also the moog ones I picked up have a zerk connection, factory ones didn't, well, mine didn't.

Good luck and keep us updated!
