Hello probably someone can help me with this problem...
i changed the voltage regulator cause i thought it was worn - no changes.
So i tested the alternator by putting 12V to the field coil --> voltage goes up / rpm goes down - so i think alternator is good.
Than i testet the regulator wiring.
Battery + --> Battery voltage.
Ignition wire only got about 10 volts. ?? If i jumped battery to ignition clamp --> there it is Alternator is charging.
What can cause these 10 volts on the ignition wire? I think a fast fix could be a relay feed by the 10 volts supplying battery voltage to the ignition clamp
any thoughts?
