Hey ive got an 03 premium sport LS with 84k and am about to get new wheels and tires/alignment so i thought about replacing shocks/struts because the back is a little squishy (i have 245/20s and the back will scub when i hit a bump) and wondered what everyone is using and how they like them? I also would like to look into some Moog replacement parts for the suspension if anyone has info.

I've read very mixed reviews on KYB's. Monroe is a good US brand, but I'm thinking OEM Sport (stock for my car) or Euro shocks on my '03 LS8.

i dug around and didnt find alot of info, it was 50/50 on the KYBs, i think they are a kind of low end brand. Ive never heard of "Euro" Shocks lol. OEM stockers huh? Anyone else?

just put monroe's on mine, pretty sure every one on here doesn't like them though lol, i also replaced the sway bar links for about $100 or so for both sides of the front

The Euro's are a Ford OEM shock. I believe they are a little stiffer and are intended for European exports. There was some talk on here of using Jaguar S-Type shocks on the LS. They seem a little different but could be made to work.

ahh.. ok, i could live with a little stiffer but i already sacrificed some ride quality putting the 20s on it with low sidewalls. i saw a post about the Jag shocks but i dont want to use other stuff and "make" it work lol. i wonder if Bilstein makes shocks for the LS? i have Strano revalved Bilsteins in my Trans Am and Bilstein HDs in my lifted tahoes. im gonna look into that as well.

Euros shocks are not available anywhere, anymore. Go with oem sport shocks.

I am pretty sure that the factory shocks are actually made by bilstein. At least I know they make most of the other lincoln shocks.

my new wheels come next week. anyone got any places to order some OEMs? im sure if i got them at the Ford garage they would be ridiculously expensive!!

Damn dude, I just paid $66 for the front set of sway bar end links on my LS

I just ordered OE sport front shocks from Motive Parts. I paid $95 each. It's probably a good deal for OEM. I can't take the clunking and sloppy feel any more! I'll get the rears in a couple of months.

I have a gen1 sport and sometimes it feels like the rear needs new shocks. There's this one spot on my way to work that it always seems to float and waddle a little in the back making the car feel unsettled. I have 133k miles on the clock so maybe it's time to do all the shocks
