Hi Guys,
I am new to LVC. I previously owned a thunderbird SC. I had been wanting an LS for the last couple of years. I got a green 02 v8 sport. I love the car, I first upgrade that I am doing in the the stero system.
I have already replaced the door speakers with sets on infinity and polk 5" x 7". Next I will replace the 6"x9" subs, and the 3.5" speakers in the front.
I need some removal/installation help with the subs. I have already ordered a set of infinity reference 2 way 6"x9". Today, I took a look at the stock set up. The stock speakers appear to be mounted from the top of the deck lid.
1. How do I get the deck lid open and remove speakers from top?
2. Is it going to sound bad because the infinity speakers are 2 ways and the amp will only send bass signal?
3. I already have a fosgate 160 watt amp, should I replace the stock amp?
