6 disc trouble

I searched sometime last night and found a part number to fix the 6 disc indash cd changer but i cant seem to find it again, i keep getting the CD error message and also read that it may be caused by fake cd's(burned,dubbed) can anyone help me out? Thanks
 
My changer jams all the time...

Unfortunately it IS because of burned CD's, they are a mm or 2 smaller than a original copy.

Only 2 kinds of jams I've experienced, trying to eject, in which case, you just need something like a paperclip to push down on the CD so it touches the rubber tracks and will come out fine.

The other is when changing CD's, I personally took the whole b!tch out and removed the CD.

I don't really know what your asking, but anymore specifics and I can help you out :D I'm already pro with this PoS changer :D

It's not a POS if you use it as described in the manual. Manual says it is compatible with commercial CDs only, not burned CDs with bootleg Napster-derived music. I had a 6-disc changer in each of my 2003 and 2006 cars, and never experienced a single problem because I was using commercial CDs.
 
Use Sony Brand and dont dl fro Napster-use Utorrent:rolleyes: .

well i have 5 commercial cd's in it and 1 burned cd so i guess ill take that one out.. and yea it jams when changing or trying to eject.. i coulda sworn i read somewhere that something just wears out and needs to be replaced but maybe not, hopefully.. thanks for the info guys
 
So is there an aftermarket replacement that has the GPS n all or am I SOL?
