Someone is running a sale (ends tomorrow) on the PIE adapter for our car.

Here's the link.

Just need to pick up a cheap RCA to 3.5mm cable to go with it.

Same question here on a 2001 LS V8. 6 disc in-dash, Alpine brand. Is it gonna work?

That one is for the '04/'05 head unit.
The "FRDN" part numbers are for Gen 1 head units (including in-dash 6 CD).

The FRD03 might work with an in-dash changer. I was initially told my '02 wouldn't, but it does. If you hit "cd" once, it goes to the head changer. Hit it again, it goes to the PIE. Good thing they built in logic to support more than one CD changer.

I sure wish there was something that would work for the Gen 1 w/CD changer. The FRDN-AUX replaces the CD changer, which bothers me.
