4.25 to 4.5 Wheel Adapters

imho spacers aren't the safest to use to begin with, but the main thing you'll run into is that our cars already use a high offset wheel, and using adapters will push the wheels out even more. You'd have to find a very high offset rim to fit or it would be rubbing the fenders...
 
NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Bad mojo all around! Studs looove to break! people are probably gonna give positive input onem but it aint worth the risk! Helll 2 weeks ago my buddies t-bird lost a wheel with the same adapters (yes properly installed and checked and rechecked) thats just the most recent, incident 6 others i can think of
 
Yes they are dangerous, but so is driving on old stock studs. I had them on my vic for a year and everytime I changed my oil i checked to make sure they were still tight, and they NEVER came loose.

I was always against them too, until I used them. Made a believer out of me.
 
There is NOTHING wrong at all with a properly installed billet aluminum spacer. You install them and torque them properly and use a dab of loctite.

ALLL BS you hear about them, used them many times in many situations and when peoperly installed there perfectly fine.

The only real setback is there mostly ONLY available in 1 inch thickness which will make the wheels stick out and look awful.

I do know ONE Guy who will make them in 3/4 thickness but its still will stick out.

Do not believe the hype about spacers, especially if someone knocking them never had any experience with them or never even used them.
 
I've used them on some of my cars through out the years, as far as safety, I never had an incident with them braking or shearing of the studs (I split an axle once, but the spacer was fine!). But as far as clearance, It was never an issue, because I never used them on the front, only in the rear with the car jacked high to clear the slicks. And the cars had solid axles not independent suspension like are Mark have.
