2nd gen taillights on a 1st gen?

will the 2nd gen tail lights fit on a first gen?...i need to know asap...

I believe the out tail will fit but not the inner mounted on the trunk lid.

On the 03+ models the part attached to the trunk have no lights and they are smaller.

yes you can put a 03+ trunk on a 02-. you will also need to swap the bumper if you swap the trunk...ask big pappy33 hes got a thread where he had this done.

Thats the thread, i had to change the trunk lid and bumper to make it work, it looks real nice and u get exhaust cutouts. If you look at a picture you can see the rear surrounds are different on the Gen1 and Gen 2 LS. Unless you do the swap you can only fit the outer tail lights...

see, i have to replace my bumber anyway, and maybe my trunk...hopefully the parts havent been ordered...thanks tho...but i really like how the exhausts are hidden in my bumper...
