255/45/17 tire on my stock 17's?

Hey guys I was on tirerack.com's website and they list my OEM tire (235/50/17) then they list a plus zero size of 255/45/17 which is a wider tire and I think that would be nice to have. Is anyone running a 255/45/17 on their LS? If so could you post pics? Thanks!

My car has 245/45/17

245's here, only because 255's were not readily available.
255's are the max, however.

I run them! Kumho Ecsta's. I really like the wide size and if I remember correctly they were cheaper than the stock size and they they are closer to stock size than some of the other tire sizes so your speedometer has less of an error.

I love my Bridgestones...they are very good on dry pavement, but really stick in the wet!

KCsilverLS, how did these tires work out for you? How is the ride and handling? Can you post some pics to see how the sidewall looks? I'm close to ordering some tires and had only been considering 245/45/17..

I may just go 255 depending on the feedback.

I ran them for ~20K miles. No issues. I didn't get that size again due to the (then) cost. I was thinking of going 255/40/18 next time; depending on cost.
