nun ya
I got a good deal on these 22's. They were free so I couldn't pass them up, But not really sure I wanna put them on. Anyone ever run 22's on there Ls any problems with rubbing? And they definately look like they need the fender rolled to fit.

That's a nice looking wheel but I'm pretty sure you'll have some rubbing issues. What's the bolt pattern?

They are 5 x 108 and not sure of the offset. They came off of a Jag. They are Maya Mrs Rims.

They look hot. As in stolen. 22's for free? sounds fishy to me.

Put them on, see how they look. What size tires?

I was wondering why they looked so effed up, then I realized they were just sitting next to your car.. I rub with my 20x7's even before I lowered it and the front has completely tore up my fenders so if you do it, roll the piss outta those fenders.. Other than that its been done before so I dont see any issues other than it being an SUV

stock diameter is about 26.25".if you have 235/20 tires on there, your total diameter would be 26.68". So that way would work, but you'd have to have correct offset too.

Well they do need new tires all they around so the tire size can be changed but the rear rims are 10.5 inches wide, maybe a little to wide. And they werent stolen lol.

Going to change the way the car drives and handles and will put more stress on the suspension. Might have some parts to replace down the road. Just things to keep in mind.

The rubber band tires you need to run on the LS look silly and would make for a ruff ride. IMHO

Well I have experienced rims on different cars in the past, but I have never gone over 20's on a car before. I have gone larger on my trucks. Soon I will be listing my 26" Asanti's from my 09 Navigator on here. I went and bought 24's for the navi. But just not sure if i wanna even mess around with 22's on the Ls. Usually I would just go with 18's and leave it but 22"s for free makes you have second thoughts.

I agree. The 22"s may fit in the rear but you will need to do some fabracating to get them to fit in the front. It's all on the tires.
Is there any reason why you can't just sale them?

I could sell them, I dont think I really wanna go that big with the LS, Just when something lands in your lap, you get a little excitied about it you know.

love the rim design, really simple. ive seen a couple of LSs with 22s around here in sacramento and they honestly didnt look too bad. with the right offset they sit very well with the car in my opinion. you just better step your brake game up with those monsters, for looks and added stopping.

A topic that has been covered very well on here. Unsprung weight is going to cause you to have to brake harder. The weight of the rim is going to make the engine work harder, your gas milage is going to be terrible. Two of the main things to think about besides ride comfort and looks before you put them on. Just my five cents.

This is what happened to me with 20's, granted Im lowered but still, 22's will have the same effect

Yea I know they will beat up the car, kinda like riding an old school wooden roller coaster. But im not into rolling my fenders.

Just put them on and take you car for a spin around the block to see if you have any issues. With the right offset you might be fine. My 20's are 8.5 inches wide and I don't get any rubbing or anything so you might be good. Only one way to know for sure.

I thought about putting them on and going around the block, But I'm going in for back surgery and I don't have the strength to jack up a car and break lug nuts and swap out rims. I could wait till monday and have it done at a shop, but then I would need someone to drive the Ls or the Navi to the shop cause those 4 rims arent fitting in the Ls. And plus the potholes in Ny and Nj are ridiculous.

the wheels you have on there arent going to wrk. i have 22's on my lswith no rub and no problems whatsoever. i had them for almost 3 yrs. u can do it. by getting a 7.5 or 8.0 inch wheel with a 245 or 235 tire. Thats it.
