2006 lincoln Ls cd changer door is stuck [won't close] ANY SUGGESTIONS??

i HAVE A 2006 LINCOLN LS AND WHEN I PRESSED MY OPEN BUTTON ON THE 6 DISC CHANGER IT OPENED FINE, BUT WILL NOT CLOSE NOW. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP THANKS!!

First suggestion, turn caps lock off and leave it that way.

Second, your description sounds like you actually have the THX nav unit, not the 6 CD radio. (Yes, the nav unit takes six CDs too.) Do you have the THX nav option?

My nav unit did the same thing, but would resolve itself after a few minutes, so it would never do it for the dealer (car was still in warranty). Finally, it jammed and stayed that way for a day. The next day about five minutes away from the dealer (was a one hour trip). it closed on it own. Fortunately, they agreed to go ahead and replace it anyway. So far, I haven't had the problem with the new one, but I pretty much stopped using CDs anyway.

Yes it's the Thx Nav unit.

Someone also suggested taking the fuse out. How would you recommend using an ipod for the vehicle then?

I understand that radio problems can be frustrating, but there is not need to yell about it. we feel your pain.

Get a PIE aux input adapter. (You can also try one of the PIE iPOD adapters, but those are hit and miss with the 06 nav. At least one member on here has one that works, and at least one (me) has one that doesn't really.)
