2005 LS - battery maintainer

Plan to use a Stanley trickle charger via the dash mounted Aux port.
Anyone has any experience on this (good/bad) ? thanks

It should work fine. You want a current limiting charger to do this duty so that it does not overcharge the battery and boil it off. I use a Battery Tender Jr on my Camaro. It comes with a pig tail that I tuck along the headlight.

Battery Tender plugged into an AC outlet will do just fine. I hook mine clipped to battery.

Don't use a cheap solar one, they apparently don't have a check circuit in them. When the sun goes down, they start discharging. Found that out the hard way, used a solar battery tender that came free from either New Egg or Tiger Direct when I built my last big computer. After two weeks, the battery was completely dead when it had sat for several months with no problems.
