Just brought my 2004 LS to England. As far as I know this is #3 in the UK. I need to get the headlamps modified or replaced for driving on the wrong (left) side of the road. According to my manual (and the workshop manual) I have VOL headlamps that provide a raised beam to the right, when dipped. [NOT OK here!] According to the workshop manual there are VOR type headlamps which provide a normal flat-topped dip beam. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a set of these VOR headlamps???

Also, there is/was an option for fold-away side mirrors. Does anyone know anything about these?

Thanks

The 2003+ had optional fold away mirrors (manually folding not powered). You should be able to get a set and install them relatively easily. Be prepared to shell out $300 to $400 just for the parts.

I don't know anything about the headlights, er.. headlamps :)

Maybe Japanese market headlights?? THey drive the wrong side and they got LSs.

I'm not so sure it is a VOL vs. VOR issue, since we have both optic left and optic right headlights here in the U.S. (just depends on the model/manufacturer). I think you will need E-code headlights, and I'm really not sure how exactly to get them. As HyeLifeLS mentioned, Japan LS's may have been equipped with E-codes.......

Just drive on the right side of the road, you don't want to blind anyone.
