2003+ V6 Cooling Troubles

Howdy,

On my thread about suspension stuff, people mentioned "cooling" problems to save money for. I did a search and while I find plenty of general cooling and DCCV complaints, looking closer makes it look like they are largely V8 issues. Does the V6 have any cooling system common troubles?

AFAIK, the V6 has the same degas bottle, so it should see the same issues with that cracking. I'm not sure about the rest of the plumbing.

Just concerned that I just crossed 100K miles and other than a tie rod end that went bad and VCGs/coils it's not had any problems. I'm planning on doing a lot of preventative maintenance soon and was going to replace the belt, idler, and tensioner for good measure. Wanted to make sure that while I'm tearing into the engine bay and have stuff out of the way, there isn't something else I can get a jump on.
