I am new to the forum and love the endless amount of knowledge you guys hand out. Really a resourceful tool. Now onto bad news. Only a week ago I got a used 2001 Lincoln LS 3.0 v6 5 speed with 150,xxx miles. PO told me he changed plugs and coils. 3 days after purchase CEL came on so I used a scan tool and pulled codes p0340 and p0320. Looks like p0320 is a camshaft position sensor malfunction and p0340 is a crankshaft position sensor malfuction. Car runs fine and doesn't sputter but is using an usual amount of gas. Does anyone have insight to what could cause BOTH codes to pop at the same time. How would I go about troubleshooting? Thanks ahead of time!
