Car has 113,000 miles (I've owned since 36,000). Started to misfire on two cylinders decided to replace all the coils, plugs and valve cover gaskets. Left side was cake. Right side remove upper manifold removed, valve cover gaskets changed, coils and plugs installed. Real difficulty installing bracket at rear of intake (maybe around fuel pressure regulator?? not sure). Anyway complete install go to start crank but won't run. Get out and smell gas. Left side intake has some fuel on it as does wiring on that side.

I walked away at that point.

So I've likely nicked a fuel hose (or manifold), anyone else ever done this?

Will go out tonight and start disassembling again.

Well I removed the intake again (this time removing the strut brace-breaking all four bolts at the towers). The fuel rail has snapped where the fuel line goes in. New fuel rail is $148.54.
