Yeah my 2000 lincoln Ls will only go for 10mph after like 20 feet it wont go any further all i will hear is the rpm while accelerating need some tips on what should do... Used transmission??? or rebuilt the transmission??? or is the computer messed up??? i dont know this happen only 2 days ago PLEASE SOME TIPS...

heres a tip, take it to the dealer. although it sounds like the valve body symptoms..

I would put my money on the valve body and solenoid pack. My 00 LS had this problem numerous times and it wasnt until both parts were replaced that I finally found some happiness.

Granted the cost of the replacement parts, which you don't know if they will even fix the problem, id say $95 is a pretty cheap way to find out what's wrong.

Any more tips or suggestions of what it is??? Valve Body??? Soil pack???transmission??? or i just need to flush the transmission oil??? The dealer is charging me $95 just to scope it out....
They are charging you 95 bux to scope it out with their diag equipment. Trust us when we advise you to take it to the dealer others that didn't later learned why.
Alright it was my trany. that got messed up due to an oil leak that i didnt know and kinda flooring it to 130mph the day before it died on me...
But ok they rebuild my trany alredy for $1,260 i think it was a good price for 1 year waranty. But now i get the little engine light on the dash board and it didnt had that before they fixed the trany. So anybody that had this problem had a solution????
