2000 LS possible part out

My high school buddy just had the tensioners let go in his LS. It is silver with black guts. I told him we could drop a new motor in it, but he said he hates the car. He may sell it whole too. It is in central IL.

Those early V8 engines are hard to find.

But if you can get a good deal on it have him sell it to you do the swap and sell it off.

I thought about fixing it and DDing it but I need something reliable and I may need a van or a truck for a new bidness venture I may embark on. The JY offered him $500, so if no one wants parts or the whole car that is prolly what he will do.

People on here always seem to be looking for parts! I know I need a few simple ones like one of the triangular dash vents and a the chrome inserts of another vent. It'd be nice to pick up a spare diff too so I can eventually add LSD. Do you have any pics of the car?

the lil chrome piece that goes on the ac vent for 1 vent

plastic vent on the dash always blows off when i have my defroster on

and the backs of the seats, dunno if they the same though, i got an 03 with black guts

i need anything hes getting rid of in his interior, i am halfway getting my interior black from grey..update us if hes selling anything, i would like to take dibbs on leather seat covers if he is .

I have not seen the car, but he had always kept his cars in great shape. He and I don't know what to ask for parts and I have no time to help him. I think he just wants to sell the whole car. Current offer is $500.

Yeah you can make way over $500 by parting it out. The thing is you just need a place to do it and the time.
