As of last night, my 1993 Mark VIII has joined the 200,000 mile club.

Wow, 200k is great. My beater had 235k - and I will say it again, I hated that thing. But it was a temporary ride. The only thing good about it was the engine, still VERY strong at that milage!

Time to park that thing and get yourself a 60K 2nd Gen!

Take the leap. You'll love it.

You can always drive the '93 on weekends for nostalgia's sake.

I don't have another Mark VIII in me right now... 200k was a hell of commitment so far, I can't bring myself to start over that process on another one.

I expect to hold onto this one long into the future, since I have so much invested in it (brand new custom transmission to Lincoln HIDs to even the stupid hard button A/C controls)- but when I buy another car later this year, it'll probably be something completely different... with a six-speed.

So how many other 200k members do we have here??

Congradulations!

My red Mark VIII is only pushing 190k miles (and it's pushing back.:D )

Fuel pump went today.:)

I can't wait to get my Mark running and start putting on some miles. Both the Marks I bought have 150,000 and are within 100 miles of each other.

Only 102k to go, if I somehow keep this one it should only take ~4 years. I don't think it'll happen since I'm looking to join club Sixteen pretty soon.
