I just bought 18/7.5's DRIV Royals I'm thinking of going with 245/40's. I have the car sensor lowered and have had 245/45/17's on it the last 3 years. The offset on the wheel is 42. Should I be OK or can I go with 255/40's? Thanks for any advice. What is the best tire out there, All season and directional. I'm looking at Goodyear Eagles. I don't have a problem with directional tires. What I want is very aggressive and good looks with good performance

Well....if you want good tires you dont want anything Goodyear has to offer......horrible tires to say the very least.

1wykdmk8, I have done a search here and other board. Everyone only talks about what is cheap. I don't care about cost, I want a great tire. I can get that from many people, everyone has their opinion. What's wrong with them (Goodyear)? It sounds like you know allot about tires. So, what is the best tire out there and I don't care about it being cheap.

You get these rims on your car yet?
I'd like to see what they look like, I was looking at the Driv's too a while back...

You can get good tires both cheap and expensive, it's always good to hear what others with the same car have used, as a tire on one car will behave totally different than another car...
