1st to 2nd

Will the doors off a 1st Gen fit on a 2nd gen? Is the rear diff the same?

The doors will fit, but the electrical will be a problem, unless you put in the 2nd gen guts.
My understanding is that the differential is different. I think that you can make it fit (may have to carry over some other parts), but the ratio may be off a little.
