1st Gen V6 Radiator upgrade opctions?? Is there anything better than OEM?

My radiator cracked a few minutes ago. This is BS man ! a couple of hours before Halloween night.
Anyways, before buying an OEM replacement, I think is the perfect time for an upgrade if there is any available.

Does any1 know about any? Maybe an upgrade to another car that fits in the LS?

nothing I know of,,,,,,i get my rad's from the online radiators.com place. Good products, not OEM, but never had a problem with them. Good quality. Best Prices too. flush out your system while you have the rad out. Get all the little metal flakes out of the system, i'm pretty sure that they are the culprit in DCCV failure.

I wanna buy a similar size full aluminum universal radiator and fit it in. Are the main water hoses all thats attached or connected to the radiator??
I didnt even had the time yet to take a look at it. I'll see tomorrow if I can drive to the garage and take it off to have a better idea of what to look for.

Has anyone done this already? or attempt to? Any info would be useful.
