Can anyone tell me what is special about the collector's edition, and do they bring any more money than a standard LSC?
thanks
Chuck

Ok i found out more info for ya.

the seat a diff. it has alot more wood trim and came with a sunroof also the car lettering is in gold not chrome and it's supposed to have an emblem on the dash saying it's a CE along with what number it is out of how many they made/buit and that's about it

The Lincoln Mark VIII Collector;s edition only differs fomr the 1998 LSC cosmetically.

2 Tone Seats, woodgrain gearshift and steering wheel, "Collectors Edition" On the inside door, and outside door trim as well as on the floormats. A gold plaque on the door jamb - thats it.

Are they more valuable? In general, yes. But thats also because most that I have seen are low mileage cars driven by little old ladies.

dont forget that there was only 1280 Ce'S made and most importantly, they were the last 1280 of our beloved mark viii's EVER made.

i consider them the "newest" mark viii available.lol
