Hello folks!
I'm back to offer up the mark VIII. I am listing this for my father. Some of you have helped me get this car looking beautiful as I maintained it for him. Some may remember when I found factory fresh Mark VII LSC CE floor mats, it brought my father joy. This car was originally owned by some corporation, which explains the amazing shape it was in when my dad purchased it. Air ride swapped to springs, an sport transmission shift kit installed, leather in wonderful shape...
Long story short without getting into the details, he let some person use the car for the better part of a year, and that person did not maintain the car. When I came to get the car, I knew there would be trouble.
Besides basic stuff like needing an oil change, brakes, a couple tires not holding air, and a new dent in the rear passenger fender, there are new mechanical issues. The intake manifold has cracked, which I am told is a common issue for these cars? There is a transmission rear main seal that's broken. And a few other things such as needing an alternator, tune up, 02 sensor, and new rear shocks. That is all the mechanic disclosed to me, and I can share the estimate with you if interested.
At this point it would be a great parts car. The rest of the body is in great shape, would have been 100% if not for that dent, such a shame. Everything power inside the car works! The only thing that does not is the cigarette lighter port. All windows, motors, seats, etc works. Plenty of valuable interior parts, and I have installed various new parts on the car myself, such as a new bulb (hard to find) new Heater blender control unit, new Die Hard Platinum battery TOP OF THE LINE from sears, That was over 300 bucks, new Ignition key plastic cover, and more.
The car still does drive, if you want to take it for a test drive. And boy does it kick! After bringing it home from the shop, it will remain parked in the drive way.
PM me with your offers, If you want any more details on the car you can pm me your phone number we can talk.
