My '95 SLS automatic trunk pull-down quit working a while ago. I've tried two different known-to-work pull-downs in it since, and replaced the switch on the trunk lid latch to no avail. I've been told that the big black switch on the motor assembly fails (but no advice on how to check it for correct function) and that the small switch on the trunk lid latch fails (but no advice on how to check it either). I have one of the replacement motors still, and it will work occasionally--but stops working almost immediately... I know this isn't a must-have, but it's driving me crazy. I like stuff to work right. Anybody on this forum an expert on trunk suckers?
