we did this on the coldest day this past winter ,did not work... Just did it again last week and I don't know if it worked because ther's a miss..... the engine ran rough before we were told of cracked manifold .... we changed plugs ,wires etc before conclusion.... Now after process there is as I said a miss... so plugs were changed again oil on one plug..... still rough ......HELP HELP HELP could it be coil or maybe vacuum leak Is my car a goner By the way I am female and my husband does repairs on week end ,he's a truck driver and gone all week so alot of the time in between trips I sit without a car becuse he can't find a solution......

Send in a used oil sample to blackstone labs (google it), it cost 22.50 for the service but they will tell you what condition the engine is in and how much if any coolant is in the oil. If there's a lot of coolant in the oil the motor is done for, might as well find a low mileage used motor from the junkyard.

There have been some 1995's (the only year of this I am aware of) with a problem with broken valve springs. Not saying this is the problem, but I would check into it.

Sounds like you need a different mechanic.

Even if you did have a cracked manifold (which I doubt) putting bars leak in the coolant wouldn't do anthing because our manifolds don't have coolant running through them.:)

If you have oil on one plug after the change, then your valve cover to tower shaft seal is leaking on that cylinder. This can cause the plug to foul and miss.
It could also be vacuum leaks. Check all vacuum hoses. Rubber vacuum "Tee's" The brake booster. If none of the plugs were wet with fuel, then the coils are probably good. IF the engine is really running rough, then you might want to do a compression test. This will tell you if you have a dead cylinder. Then you can remove the valve covers and see if any of the valve springs are broken. At the same time you can replace your valve cover gaskets and tower orings.
