1993 Mark VIII

Not trying to change the subject but...what year came with a 2 pc drive shaft and what didn't??? I have a 94 that is un-altered and has a 1 pc drive shaft. Is this possible?

Don't dis the 94's .... My Marked8 did a 14.6 in my 94 stock no mods ...

No, not meaning to dis the 94's at all. They're still a Mark VIII, so I still like them. In fact my parents had one back in the 90's, and it was a VERY nice car. I'm just saying if I had a 93, a 94, and a 95 for sale, all things being equal including price, I'd go for the 93 or 95, most likely the 95, since I've already got a W3Z2 ECU and a 93 DS to swap into one.

DZA1 was in the 95. Z4H0 was in the 94.

^This was the "hot" 94 ECU I was talking about.

As far as I know, no. The 93's were supposed to be the only year with the 1-piece driveshaft from the factory.

Maybe if it were an early prod and they had a few extra laying around, manufacturers do that all the time. You wont really be able to tell until you drop your fuel tank

You gotta look closely at the drive shaft. I have seen many people thinking that the two piece they have is a one piece.
