Hi everyone, yes i'm new to this site but not new to mark VIII's i'm on my 3 rd one. and this si the best one so far. anyways, i'm used to the notorious vibrations that come with the mark VIII. but this one has me baffled. it start right about 63mph and it's not a constant vibration, and it's definately in the drivetrain as i don't feel anything from the steering wheel. the vibration comes and goes steadily. it's like i get the virbation for about 4-5 seconds or less then it goes away for the same amount of time and just keeps going back and fourth.basically its a pulsation and it only does it at a cruising speed, under accellaration it doesn do it.
usually the mark's just have a constsant vibration.all the tires have been comepletey road force balanced, brand new spicer U joints and driveshat speed balanced like all my drag cars. new differential bushings.the car only has 66K miles on it so it's not like it's worn out or anything. anyone with any ideas?
i also have another very wierd vibration at 30mph coming from the rear, kind of a squeelling nice, and thats only if it's at a constant spped between 30 and 38 mph. it's the loudest right at 30. as soon as i let off the gas it goes away and as soon as i step on the gas and start to apply the slightest load it goes away. it has to be right at a constant no load speed.
