Thats Cool

It would have never been on the web originally, being as pubilc use of the web/internet is about 12 years old. Now the internet goes back to 1969 if I remeber correctly, but for government use and universities only.
Zero to 50 in 8.1 seconds. seems kinda slow. The reason they didn't do 0-60 is; that the national speed limit was still 55mph in 1988.
I believe it was moved back up to 65 in '89 or '90. Than other states went to 70-75, and for a short while you could drive in Montana at a "resonable and prudent" speed for conditions. So, on a sunny day, with no traffic, out in the country (3 things Montana has lots of) you could drive as fast as you wanted on the interstate.
That only lasted a couple of years, and they went back to 75mph for cars, and big rigs were limited to 65mph.

There's a section of IH-10 west of San Antonio that they moved the speed limit up to 80mph awhile back. Not sure if it's like that all the way to El Paso though...
