Bought a set of 4 "Cygnus" 18-inch Jag XF rims what had a fresh set of Continental ContiProContact tires (under 100 miles) for $600 in Tampa. Perfect fit on the LS and give it a nicer feel then my '06 17-in rims.

And yeah, the B-Pillar chrome strips are on the car. The previous owner installed them and I just haven't removed them yet. I am guessing that a lot of the rims from the XF-series jag's will fit as well. Although the other styles are like 20-spoke rims. Not a fan of that style. Reminds me too much of the turbine's I had on a 1985 Thunderbird that I absolutely hated!!!

Big picture is big lol.

That's why I posted the links :)

I got them for $600. The guy worked in the service department of a Jaguar dealership. The owner bought 20's and didn't want them. These are CPO take-off's which mean they are basically brand new tires minus the test-drive miles. Still had the factory chalk line on them. According to tire rack these either cost $220 or $250/ea. So far the turn-in feels a little slow but they don't feel like they under-steer as much. Would have to run them a little harder to know for sure. Definitely stick better then the old ones.

I bought them for three reason:
1) I like the look of them (Just cant get into the 20-spoke rims)
2) They are 18x8.5"s compared to the stock 17x7.5's with correct offset
3) Replacement tires for my stock rims were $800 + install

So, rim upgrade with new tires for $250 less then new tires alone. Works for me :)

I'll have to actually weigh them when I do brakes, but in just the loading/unloading of the two sets, the new ones actually feel lighter.

Worth it for the tires if they needed to be replaced, I liked your ls better with the stock wheels better myself but they look ok:cool:

The tires alone are worth more than $600.

The place I took them to for road-force balance said they would have charged around $245/tire + install for them. But now I'm good to go if I ever move to 255-275 :)

Pictures made smaller so they load faster without killing your browser.

The stock 17" rims are for sale if anyone wants 'em. I got a post in the for sale section. Here's what they looked like on the car:

Good buy for tires but not digging the wheels. There are much better jag wheels out there

Agree with most on here - killer deal for the tires alone, but the wheels aren't ringing my bell. They'd work as a winter wheel good enough, though.

No biggie. I like them for the understated/sleeper look. :)

So far I still got my stock 17's, so I can always go back if ever I change my mind. Or if I find another set of 18's, I can keep the tires.

It gets stated a lot in here, and it will always ring true - if you really like them, that is ALL that matters. While it's nice to get positive feedback from other members, we're not seeing it or driving it every day like you are.

There were plenty of members that didn't care for my wheels, but I wouldn't change them in a heartbeat. They achieved the look I was going for.

So, if these are making you look forward to getting in your car, taking pics of your car, washing/waxing/detailing your car, or doing anything else in your car then don't change a thing. You got what you need.

I wanted them the moment I saw them on an XF. I didn't really post this for approval so much as to just let people know they fit. Knowledge is power I say.

But it's all good. If I didn't want to hear others critique my choice I wouldn't have posted it. To each their own :)
