Lots of 14.5s too.

I hit 98MPH twice the other night, though the track was slick and traction sucked so I couldn't hit the 60' to beat my previous best. There was a solid head wind all day today so I was happy to see the high 97.78 and my new best. 14.3 will happen soon.

Dude! I've been to Great Lakes Dragaway, but my best was 15.3 or so with CAI, exhaust, and summer tires.

How do you get times this good?

I ran 15.0s @ 93ish with the LSK Aluminum Intake w/KKM, Magna-Flow and 20" Foose Lussos bolted on.

With stock wheels I hit 14.5 with 95s a few times.

Now with the Xcal2 on board I'm trapping 97 and a few 98 passes and hit the new low^^^^ and have a bunch of 14.5s and probably over 20 14.6 passes.

Just the 3 mods and good technique I guess.

Come on up to GLD, we'll get yours to run high 14s.

I'm planning to, after I fix this misfire. Effing coils. It was misfiring for almost a year and it triggered CEL, but it wasn't so bad back then.

Let me know when you gonna be there and maybe I'll be able to come too since I wanna find out what Ms. March 06 can do without misfires.

Nice Jason... I see you are still at it making sure the LS isn't put to same...(granted there are a few others in here), but I know you take your LS down to the track often...

It's good to see the LS being raced... An LS is more than a navigation unit, skirt, and rims...

They do have some balls.. too bad they don't make much in the after market performance line for the LS.

Keep Racing and Posting... I want to see the 13's...

hey man, 14.4 at 1/4 mile, that's about 6 seconds 0-60mph. Now that's helluva fast for any LS.

With 3:58s you'll probably be in 5.5 or so and if it was an LSD, even less.

V6 LSs have 3.58 gears, so you won't have problem finding em. You should do it for your next mode.

Yeah right below 6. I'd say 5.8-5.9. I'm thinking of swapping to the 3:58 rear, should shave a smidge more.

Well I have the 3:31s now so 3:58s will be a slight improvement. That with a shorter tire will make more of a difference. Got some ideas for it.

Want to hit some 14.3s as is first. I'm itching to bolt my 20s on so then I will be done racing till fall.

Actually some early 00s and all 03up have the 3:58s alnog with all T-Birds so there around.

LSD???Not in years.

how long were the LSes made with 3.58s? Mines bday is april of 2000, was that in the time period where they were coming out with 3.58s?

I'm not positive but I thought it was like the early as in made in 99 models.

To check is really easy. Look at the differential on your car the tag is right on the bottom. Just get a flashlight lay under the rear no jack should be needed and read that tag. Along with some other jiberish numbers you should see clearly 3 31 or 3 58. Should be pretty obvious.

Someone said that rear end on these is made by Jaguar, is that correct?
Im almost bound and determined to find a LS diff that will work in these, I asked here once already and everyone pretty much said they dont exist.
If Jaguar made these, I know Jag makes alot of LS units for their performance cars, Id like to try and cross reference the rear end on the ls and see which cars Jag used them on. And see if they ever made any LS setups that will fit it.

(btw LS in caps = Limited Slip) :shifty:

I think a 3.7* or 3.8* LS rear would work nicely with even a stock PCM tune and still provide decent mileage on the highway.
