I got a set of Mark 8 10 spoke sliver gray wheels off a 98 mk 8 out of Michigan. They are free of gashes or road rash but they need to be bone clean. Is there any place that can dip the wheels and boil the to get them looking like new ?

If you want them like new take them to a alloy wheel repair specialist just do a search on the web there are plenty of them in your area

I used E-Z-OFF oven cleaner to make my old 95's silver 10-spokes look brand new

here's how I did it:

have a hose with nozzle at the ready
a bucket or warm soapy water with a wash cloth
1 can of E-Z-OFF oven cleaner.

with wheels cold(not warm from driving), spray the outer painted surface with the oven cleaner and let it soak for about 20-30 seconds, then IMMEDIATELY spray it clean with the hose and wash it off with the water and wash cloth

If they still dont look clean, dry the wheel and try again but leave the cleaner on for 45 seconds to 1 minute.

it removed all the brake dust that was stained in to the corners, and they came out looking BRAND NEW
