check engine light on 1 of 2 cooling sensors fa runs all the time replaced the 1 in the front or motor no difference can some one tell me where the other is located I guess it controls the fan.

You have two sensors. They are opposite each other. One is for the gauge, other for the computer. The one for the computer should be on passenger side and two wire.

The one on the passenger side. If you replaced it then its not the sensor, you may have a bad VRCM. Someone else will have to verify that.

There is a module mounted on a bracket in front of the A/C condenser towards the drivers side of the car. It's mounted right behind the front bumper. That module is a 1996 specific module, if it doesn't come off a 96 it won't work on your car. It controls the fuel pump, cooling fan, fuel injectors.... etc

It's a known failure point and it's even harder to find. Your only option is a junkyard but expect to pay good money if they know what they have. Make sure the part number is the same or it won't work.

Here is the part number: F6LF-14B239-BC
