06 ls room for subs

i ordered 2 12 inch solo baric l5 subs
are they gunna fit in my trunk with a normal box?

it depends on what size the Normal box is, if you have the factory subs then i doubt it, it is a very shallow trunk when the fact subs are there

i've fit 2 12's in my LS before. they fit but not in the recommended specs for optimum performance box

i do have the stock subs in the car
i was thinking if i took them out thart it might give it some room

if you going with an aftermarket sub system, then ditch that sh1t,the taller the box the less floor space the box will take up. the 2nd gen's sub system isn't quite as big as the 1st (the 1st gen's had a large plastic box that made the trunk quite shallow) plus those things are just a distortion factory anyway

Here is a pic of my 2 L7 12's in a sealed box. I had to take out the rear sub tray but that was it.
