I know, I know. I have been saying it for a long time now. All the bitching and complaining with all the repairs but i an 100% now looking to replace the LS. Its still in great shape but i need something new. I'l miss the RWD and the handling, the looks are getting a little dated but still classic. Havent decided which direction to go....

(2dr) 2013 Mustang, i think the best looking mustang in a long time and its finally loaded with great options. Interior is improved and power is
sick

(4dr) Love the new interior of the 2013 MKS, uses the same dash and controls as the new Explorer which i got to drive for almost two months. Very Nice. Not too sold on the front end. Dont like the horizontal grill vs. vertical waterfall. But a nice BIG family cruiser. New Base is up to 300hp which is good enough.

(Ultimate 4dr) Taurus SHO. Cant go wrong with 365hp. Not gonna handle like the LS but still loaded with options.

(SUV) Eghhh. Its good for room and travel, comfort but thats about it. Power sucks. Nice interior. Like the high ride height. It nice to go thru a drive thru be look down at the people at the window.

(F150) Brother just got a new 2013 F150 SuperCrew with Ecoboost. That thing is nasty. For a truck it moves, plus its nice to haul big items if needed.

Just want the LS to make it thru the end of the year :shifty:

'05 Presale parting out prices

As stated looking to get rid of the LS. Could be in a week, a month or 4 months. Just waiting for the right car at the right price. Looking to get rid of a couple of extra parts:

17" Chrome wheel - I bought an extra fifth rim so i could have a full size spare. I still got the space saver so i can sell the matching chrome rim. Dont know if its 7 or 8 spoke. Check my pics.

Pie Adapter for ipod conection - I see no reason to leave that in the car.

McClaren grill - I had mine painted and clearcoated black to match the car (again check pics) I have seen all kinds of prices but havent seen a legit McClaren grill for sale in a while.

Interested in what these items can bring in, sold seperately. Thanks

If you are considering an F150, then consider F250+. I have an '11 F350 power stroke. It is 8000 LB Crew Cab 4x4 with 400HP 800Ft Lbs. It will start doing a burnout at any speed less than 35 if you punch it. The amount of power that it has hopelessly overwhelms the tires if you want. Anyways it is super quiet and comfy and averages 21mpg. From the driver's seat you can see the roof of F150s.

Someone on here will want that Mclaren i am sure of it. I talked about possibly selling mine, and that peaked quite a bit of interest.

Id love to have that Mclaren grill but if its up for bid then it'll go for 250-300 easy. Not what I'd like to pay for a grille, especially if Alax7 works out something with making a replica.

If its paid for keep it and get something else. These cars are becoming more and more rare in good condition and you will regret letting it go later on.

I wouldint mind adding a Mark LT or 07+ expedition to my stable.

I chose the LS over the new Mustang... For all the pluses of the new stang, it is much smaller inside vs. the LS. I'm 6'6", 220lbs. Some idiot made the console flat and elbow height so you have to slide your whole arm over the console to shift. The windshield bow is too low to see stop lights, the dash is out of my reach when sitting in the seat. It's dang near impossible to tell where the perimeter of the car is due to the windows being too small and high vs. the sitting position. The LS is borderline but the stang is terrible IMHO.

I looked at a GT premium with the 2 tone black and blue interior, grabber blue exterior with the Brembo package and spoiler package and could get it for $38K. at 2.9% for six years it was going to be $550/m and I just didn't see it being a decent value at $20+ per day to own it. The LS is $200/m and honestly a more comfortable and enjoyable car.

When you are ready to make a move, I'd be interested in the pie connector.
Thanks,
Mark

I see your $200 and I raise you...

Im not wanting to be greedy or rip someone off but i have seen all kinds of prices for the grill. Of course i would want as much as i could get for it but i figured i'd offer it here first before i go the ebay route. I guess highest offer wins? If you want to post offers here or PM me thats fine.

I'm surprised nobody is interested in the chrome rim. I find it so much more convenient to have a full size spare rather than using the temporary spare which may or may not be safe to use seeing most are getting quite old.

My LS is in awesome shape.... leather is perfect, interior perfect, body is perfect minus maybe three tiny dings, have practically replaced almost every mechanical part on the car over the years, some numerous times. New tranny, new a/c. Been maintained religiously. Its the Ultimate edition so its got everything available minus nav. It would be nice to keep it long term just have around but i would want/need the money from selling it to get the new car, not to mention i am up to 185k miles now and parts do have a certain lifespan and i need reliability. A dealer i checked with said the "black book" value is only $4k. Seems low for a car in such great shape minus the excessive miles. Get compliments on it all the time. The few mods i made (M3 spoiler, mach chin, mclaren grill really makes it stand out from the many LS's i see on the road.

The new cars nowadays just have so much technology built in and the power of the engines is getting crazy. Kinda like not wanting to give up your VHS for a blu ray player.
