Hello Im Chris.. new to these forums.. I have HID lowbeams and regular high and foglamps.. i want to put some xenons in both but for now just going to do my fogs.. i know theyre h10's but i was curious to get some opinions on which kind to use. I drive a 50k+ car and dont want to screw something up on wiring.. have heard of some people frying wires when using cheap ones.. i saw some on ebay.. are those decent? which brand should i use? just looking for some kind of uniformity in my lighting on the front end.. thanks.

I bought ebay HID's n i love em.. thats about all i can say though. I've had em since August and only real problems ive ever had so far is slight flickering which is apparently normal. i spent about 150 for them.

yea i know im lazy and didnt feel like resizing.. rick... i wanted the blue looking bulbs. i dont need the entire conversion kit. suggestions on what i should do?

ummm...i was on the hunt for the blue-ish output bulbs for a while and i think the euro-deisgn ones weren't all that bad for the price but they are not blue. and usually the ones on ebay that claim to be blue are really not and can melt wires. ken has some bulbs that you might want to take a look at as well. i bought my hid's for like 150 for low's and fogs and i don't think it was all that bad for the price. it all depend on what you want. and yeah i get lazy sometimes as well and won't feel like uploading piks.

i bought kits for both the highs and lows. the thing about hid's is they do take a while to get bright. you def. don't want to be going 65 down a dark country road and have to switch from highs to lows. so i moved the high beam kit to the fogs. i went with 6000K:

probably not as blue as you want, but i'm not interested in getting pulled over for having my lights too blue.

yeah man.. mine has the low beams installed factory.. i looked on the original sales ticket in my car and it was a 1ooo dollar upgrade.. so im assuming theyre nice. i mean they look really nice.. that car looks identical to mine exept my rims are 18" alloys. it takes me 2 hrs to wash the car.. i spend another 1.5 just on the rims... every weekend. that car wont be dirty. i cant stand it! ha

you're telling me! it's tough to keep it clean in the winter here though... just the 6 mile drive to work on wet roads(they're always wet/slushy during the winter) ruins the clean look...

You have a Mclaren grille and headlight eyebrows too?

na im looking into getting the lse grill tho.. painted to my stock paint. i like those better than the mclaren. since you have one tell me.. they looked like plastic on lsk page.. are they good quality?

ABS plastic, just like the stock grille. yeah they are good quality. I had mine painted at a shop while they repainted the hood, so i'd have a perfect match. If i had any other chrome on the car, i might have went with the LSE grille. But mine's the sport (no chrome on the bumper) and alloy wheels, so Mclaren seemed to fit better. I'm not a huge fan of chrome, anyway...

ive got the ls ultimate... no chrome on the bumper besides the stock grill.. i love chrome tho.. looks so nice after you wax it.
