04 lincoln ls stock thx nav for movies

I have the thx navigation on my ls and i wanted to be able to play movies on it. I will be using my ipod video for this so i just need it as a monitor. The question is, how good is the picture quality from this navigation screen, i have found those websites like navandtv2go with the kits that allows you to watch movies on your nav screen. I can always go aftermarket but i like the look of the thx nav. I caould also install a monitor somewhere instead but i didnt want it to be all bulky and in the way. Can anyone who has seen or has done this to their stock thx nav tell me how good the picture is and if its worth it
