All,
Today I needed my wipers.
Unfortunately they only ran very slowly, too slowly to be useful, and none of the speed controls on the control knob seemed to make any difference.
The wipers do not appear to go all the way 'home' either.
I have never had this issue before.

A couple of days ago we had 4-6" of snow, I started the car and then proceeded to clear off the snow, the wipers were in auto. Once some snow was removed / moved about the rain sensor the wipers took off.
They stalled...
Could this have caused an issue?
Could they need to be 'reset' or something?
Any input would be greatly appreaciated... I need the car, it will have to go to the dealership on monday if I do not find a resolution.

again, any help appreciated.
Stephen

It's most likely either the motor and/or the wiper transmission. You'll have to just pull parts and test. ie, if you remove the wiper motor (keep wires connected), can it free-wheel at different speeds? If so, the transmission is messed up. Otherwise, the motore is probably bad.
You may also find a diag tree in the service manual: (shoot, lost the url at the moment)
