I need one, the one I have now is designated "unrepairable" by 3 body shops. I know I'll have to get it painted, but I want to know, what kind of options do I have? Would it be cheaper to go aftermarket (if there is such a thing for an LS)? Can I use a Gen2 bumper?

Does anyone have a Silver Birch Metallic 02 LSE Front Bumper with painted trim and circle fog lights for sale?
 
that is cheap for a bumper. its over 600 for a gen 2 bumper. gen ones look more sporty IMO
 
thats a really good price because the retail price for the gen one LSE bumper is $800

You can use a Gen 2 bumper on your LS. I'm planning on doing this conversion some time later next year. Is the bumper that you found new or used? Just curious being that the Gen 1 LSE bumper is no longer made. I had gotten some quotes from Team Ford for the Gen 2 LSE bumper a couple of months ago and they quoted me I think it was three hundred and something. I saved all the information including stock numbers. If I find it I'll post it.

You could use a Gen 2 LSE or a 06 front bumper, as you probably know they look different from the 02 LSE and the Silver Birch is a second gen color. If yours is silver and its a first gen LS its gunna be Silver Metallic Frost.


I think there is one site with aftermarket LS bumpers around the price range you later posted so Im thinking its from the same site.
 
but it has the rectangular fogs instead of circular ones.

Its not a LSE that's why. From the looks of the size of the side marker it appears to be the non-sport ( hence BASE in the description ) but I don't see the chrome trim which makes me think that those who have been looking for the trim without a new bumper may be able to find it somehow like I thought.

funny when i priced out the rear valence he looked up my vin and told me the color would be silver birch. Silver birch was the cheaper one 1200 compared to 1500. How can a whole front lse bumper be 600 and the rear valence, which is 6 inches wide be 1200, 875 from team ford.
 
Silver Birch is the darker silver like 02v8sports LS. I dont know, maybe
 first gen LSE's could have come with that paint code.

Look at the paint code on your door. If its TS its Metallic Frost.
