Ok, so this car has had some weird problems, but what is really irritating me is this strange problem that ONLY occurs after it has set a long while. It never does it after I've started it (And it actually started right) and I've driven it.

The problem is. I was pull it out of the garage in the mornign time and drive it just enogh to where it warms up to normal operating temperature. I will normally be at a stop and then the engine will start to whine. I think its the fan spinning faster than normal but I can't be sure. The car THINKS if is overheating when it is not (or at least I dont think so since there is no smoke.) How can a car overheat in 30* weather? The temperature gauge will rise steadily, and if I give it gas, will increase more. I have to shut the car off, restart it, then shut it off again and THEN restart it for it even to run right. Im not sure if performance is effected, because when the gauge rises I pull out of traffic and shut the thing off. IT started a week ago at random. I have no engine lights, nothing, just a stupid temperature light when it hits the H. Do I have a bad sensor or is my wiring messed up?

ALSO - the whine sounds louder, but similar to the alternater and is RPM related...I assume its the fan.

--Does anyone know why my headlights would dim so much when I roll up the windows? It seems when I roll up my windows everything in the car but the radio dims. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
