01 lincoln ls led

hello lvc ive been very annoyed seeing all my lights nice bright white except my 2 front dome lights! they look so dirty being piss yellow. Ive tried many times removing it but doest wanna come off. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to remove the dome light off a 01 lincoln ls non-moon roof

That is a real tough piece to get off. Go slow and start from the back. Use a flat head, and carefully pry it down until you can get your fingers in there. Then use constant pressure and pull down. The back should free up. Then from the sides, use constant pressure straight down until it comes out. It's tough to get off, but DO NOT force it or jerk, you'll snap the plastic pieces the metal clips are on.

Eh, beats me. The gen 2 has a totally different lighting situation so I cant really help beyond the link
