'00 ls v6 cold weather no start fixed!

Just wanted to offer this to those of you out there that are having problem with ls cold weather no start issue. Wow! My husband and i solved this frustrating problem. Symptoms were just like a lot of others..... Cold weather,no start, would crank, sometimes get to start by pressing gas pedal while starting, after getting started would run fine and restart all day fine. It was the iac!!!!! My husband first removed and cleaned and saw some improvement, then replaced with new one. That was it! Part was $54 and easy to replace. Thank you people that posted this as possible fix! Saved soooo much money. We are planning to get intake professionally cleaned to prevent more dysfunctions in future. Thanks everyone!!!!!!

IAC problems (applies only to 2000-2002, 2003-2006 do not have an IAC) are pretty easy to diagnose. If it won't start well normally, but will start well with the gas pedal pressed half way down, then it is the IAC.
