    A/C runs cold, then turns hot (outside temp), but goes cold again when RPM is high

    A/C starts off cold, eventually blows hot as outside temp, but turns cold again if I rev the engine to 3,000 rpm. Sounds like a vacuum controller of some sort has a loose hose, but I read the air diverters are electric solenoids? Any ideas from the experienced folks here? Thanks!

    V8 Hydraulic to electric fan for $100. Taurus fan, Volvo controller, BMW temp switch.

    My girlfriend's 02 Lincoln LS V8 had a leaking hydraulic radiator fan system. What genius thought it would be a good idea to put a fluid system above the alternator? :confused: The alternator shorted out and I had to replace it. That was fun to diagnose. Plus getting it out was like solving...
