I have a 2000 LS with the v6. I bought the car with a bad rod bearing. The machine shop wants to much money to fix it so I was looking at putting a 2000 taurus dohc v6 in it. The junk yard wants $350 for the taurus motor and $1300 for the LS one. Has anyone ever done this swap? I have searched...

can you be more specific which sensor? one of the wheel sensors? other sensor. If its a wheel sensor how can I determine which one?

what if the rotors are good what in the abs would cause the abs to come on everytime you hit the brakes?? I know its the abs cause i can hear the motor. no abs lights on.

I have a similar prob, my rotors are in fact wrapped. But they have been for a long time, and I had no issues. But recently every time I hit the brakes the ABS kicks in on dry road. No ABS or any other lights come up on the dash.

what kind of SHO swaps? how about the 5spd man trans?
