As a matter of fact...does it matter if it's a headlight from a Mark VIII, could we not try a few experiments on any old headlight that's the same principle??

If I can find a spare one, possibly 2 that are no good anymore...I'm willing to open them up and try a few different theories on them. I'm sure even if Ford doesn't seem to want to make the money on replacing these poor lights. We here would have no problem if we can find a reasonable solution...

Hi, It could be your evap canister which is supposed to take the fumes away from the gas tank (hence the hoses) I need a new one for my 97' Continental and haven't had any luck finding one (mine held on with plastic ties).

Oh yeah...will they fit the 95'. If I remember correctly 93' to 95' are the same.

At least it's nice to know I'm not the only one, and I'm certainly not giving up the car cause of the lights. I wonder if the dealers in the US would ship to Canada, that's a big jump from 400 a pair to 1,000 a piece.

Thanks. I had originally inquired at the dealers about new ones and the price was closer to $1,000. I'm still hoping to find some on a wreck somewhere that are better than mine LOL... I just thought maybe someone had come up with a solution. I haven't given up just yet.
