Updated 2009 Lincoln MKS pix! (LS replacement)

Does the "diaper" and "hood bra" come with it? I'm thinking that might be an improvement over what it will look like without them. :bowrofl:

wait for it.... wait for it.... disappointment again. It is not what an LS replacement should be.

Power steering fluid leak - Help

I have something similar on my '03, I can't tell for sure from the pick where yours is, but on mine it was right near the driver side front tire that I would find it (just a couple drops at the end of driving). Anyway, it turns out the clamp on the hose just needed to be replaced. You might...

wHERE IS THE BATTERY IN MY 2003 LS??

Trunk: next to the spare tire: Lift up the carpet panel. Follow the wires. Just don't let the smoke out or it won't work. :-)

    Adios: LS is GONE

It is an important point - not sure what the deal is but when I bought the M45 the insurance was only 65$/6months more a month than what it was on the LS. Payment wasn't an issue as I bought it out right so their is no lien. Curious as to why there is SO little difference in insurance price...

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

Yes, Wally-worlds are special like that! Though I still have to say seeing the 20-somethings in Pusan, South Korean lined out into the street to get into the Krispy Kreme across from the Gucci shop is still my most entertaining moment. Chocolate Covered Creame filled....mmmmmm :)

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

I've lived in Clinton Tennessee, Huntsville Alabama, Aiken South Carolina I've 'visited' for a significant time with work or family (cummulatively weeks and months) and in no particular order: Pasadena California, Calgary (canada), Edmonton (canada), Marion Indiana, Waterford Michigan...

    Adios: LS is GONE

Congrads man - can we see some pics? I agree whole heartedly that the LS was the most appealing car that Lincoln had in it's stable. However, we may need a forum of "former Lincoln LS owners that have now moved on" ;)

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

Not much, unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed on that. Edmunds calls it out as about 14K (depending on options and mileage). :( I got a little less for mine as it had almost 70K on it. To Fishbone1: I'm sure there will be lots to do in KY, and I'm definitely sure I'll be *entertained*. ;)

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

We took it up to the mountains north of LA on Sunday (that was where we were originally headed when the LS started acting up again). It hugs very nicely. The steering is much more responsive (in my opinion) than the LS, but you can tell the M feels like it has a little higher center of...

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

I didn't mind the question - I wish there was the same law that applied to real estate. Whenever you sell a house, they have to post in the paper how much it sold for. I wish the same was true for cars. At least then we wouldnt be guessing about "how much does it really cost" or going into...

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

I am not much of a Caddy man... I haven't cared much for the styling except for a few of the very high priced models, and it just wasn't there for me. As for the 'don't hit the spot' - I would argue this V8 feels as good as any detroit V8 that I have driven. So while it is an...

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

The LS I gave up was 68K - yes it is hard to feel that they are intended to be comparable cars even after only a few days.

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

For this one with the Premium Package (see infiniti website for what that intails) and the 18" Chrome wheels with 30K+ miles on it, the vehicle was $41K - less the *trade in* on the LS.... Not exactly something you should purchase on a whim.

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

We prefer the Black or the Blue, but the wife and I compromised because of the features and the availability of this one. Hopefully there will be a Jeep Wrangler in our future when we move to Ky later this year - maybe I can get my color-fix then. Right now it has all I want, when I get...

    So long LS, hello Infiniti

Well, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks to all the guys that commented and helped out when I had problems on the LS. After much deliberation, and a return of the further coil problems after my car was shipped out to me here in SoCal, the wife and I were ready to move on. So this past...

    mileage on original shocks

Replaced them at 68, had the sport (not lowered), replaced with sport. As for the brakes, I put EBC redstuff and the EBC rotors on the car and squealing is gone (I didn't care for the semi metalics that were on the car originally cause they were so noisy), and in my opinion stopping is much...
