Don't know yet. Engine has over 300,000 miles with a seperated front damper, interior is totally shot, power steering pump is empty, found electrical shorts in the alternator harness and in the sun roof switch. It does have a trac lok rear with 327 gears, the engine starts easy, A\C works ok...

The LSC badges, Lincoln badges, Trunk lock and antenna hardware on the fender are all gold.

I know that CB's were offered as an option for the LCS's, were early portable phones offered as an option as well? Were they Ford or dealer options? Any information would be helpful.

Has anyone done a PMGR starter conversion on a 1984-89 LSC? I have not seen any tech articles concerning this upgrade.

I have noticed some Mark VII's have gold emblems instead of the normal chrome ones. Is there anything special about these cars? The car with the emblems is a 1988 LSC Mark VII.

Had similiar problems with my 92 towncar. Check the wiring plug next to the pull down motor on the right side to see if it is loose. If so plug it back in. Also check to make sure the button in the glove box is not sticking, this can also cause the same problem. This resolved the problem on the...
