I ran Hawk HP + pads on stock rotors, worked very well for me. Lots of brake dust, however.

My car is totalled, parts available.

i appreciate all the support guys. The hit was pretty hard - hard enough to warp the dash and crack the HVAC controller - I spent part of this weekend removing what parts I could, so I got a better idea of what is salvageable. I don't have my heart set on a bronco, right now I think I might...

My car is totalled, parts available.

I forgot to mention it's a 94 with 120 000 miles. I don't know if I will. Last night's accident really made me think about my priorities in life. I am honestly lucky to be alive. I think I might want something big and slow for a while until I can figure things out. The Mark was my dream car...

I don't have a picture yet, I will go take one tomorrow morning. I am not sure how I would take it apart, but if I can, your suggestion makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a shot.

A few Questions from a new member.

i would second the loose wire idea for your combination of radio whine and engine shutoff. I think you have a bad or inconsistent ground.

Anyone know how to repair the connector for the rear lights?

The big, multi wire connector for my rear lights had a couple of wires slide / snap out of their sockets. I managed to solder the trunk release connector back in, but the rear lightbar connector won't solder properly. Is there an easy way to get the wire back in the connector? By connector, I...
